Bye bye LTA Jason
This week no ex yeh, more relax. But got a more stress activity islandwide driving. Sian hab to clock 1000km to go Taiwan. Drive the slow unimog along all e expressways in Sg so damn dangerous, let cvs point middle finger at us. Drove from camp to changi village, back to Tuas and to camp. Dunno suay or wat my unimog broke down twice on 2 consecutive days. 1st time, damn frightnening experience. Suddenly no power then die in Lane 3 of CTE AMK. CB caused a jam all e drivers GAN me, wah lau what can I do, i on hazard you don't let me filter to e shoulder. Breakdown must come down put triangle plate damn scary. All e cars refused to slow down and zoomed past me. Open e door also difficult. Bo pian lor, stay in veh wif Sg Lina and make phone calls. Heng i got bring phone, cos sg phone batt flat.
Few minutes later, EMAS came then we felt more secured. They cordoned our rear and controlled e traffic. Soon a tow truck came to tow us to the nearby heavy carpark at the MRT depot. There EMAS pple took shots of our veh, then another tow truck towed us back to camp.
After that incident I felt life is priceless value it. That nite nights out go eat KFC, scared next time cannot eat lliaoz LOL.
The next day, changed vehicle, damn weak can go 49km/km niaz, summore swd so soft. Along e expressway, e convoy damn long becos of me, other veh avg 53 me 49 hab to brake. From camp we went to East Coast park to take a break. Fter break, tried to start engine, the unimog cannot start, tried many ways also dunno why. Me and Sg Lina stayed in the veh for the tower to come. The tower come crank engine can start liaoz, nothing to say. In the end towed back.
After we reached camp, we were on half day. so around 4pm left. I guess we were left off early becos we attending LTA Jason's farewell dinner. By the time reach home also nt much time to rest. I met up with Guang Dao and Darren then took bus to Orchard, already 1h late LOL. Reached PS cafe cartel most of the people arrived liaoz. As we were such a big group finding a place for all of us to eat is troublesome. In the end we had dinner at Kublai Khan Mongolia Buffet at Parkmall, VIP room worz. IMHO e food sucks dun go there eat. Only thing good is can accomadte many pple.

On 10 Dec 05, Kai my best friend finally graduated from OCS, after suffering for 9 months.
Yesterdae met up wif Kai's family and Jia Li his GF. We then took taxi to SAFTI. Upon reaching, there was another ferry service to the parade square.
Seated at the parade square, at the grandstand, they had some TVs playing the video about ocs, to entertain the guests.
At around 6pm, the parade started with the military band. After the band, the various contingents marched in including Navy and Air force. We got the best seat and could look at Kai's contingent, he was behind the right marker. Then the color party started marching in. Soon after Minsiter Teo Chee Hean arrived. The reviewing officer was President Nathan and his wife, he arrived in an unmarked mercedes escorted by MP bikes. After his arrival, he inspected the parade. Everyone was very surprised as he stop to chat with a cadet in Kai's contingent for a long time. Imagine the guy must be so happy better than winning 4d. Kai was the pionner batch of officers for this air logistics course. Inside his contingent were a few brunei cadets, including 2 females, respect.
After inspection, time to march pass, the parents rushed to the front to take photo of their sons marching by. Din managed to catch Kai. When ended, it was presentation of Sword of Honour by the President. Their chepat jalan (quick march) is really damn fast. Surprsingly, the 2 female cadets were also involved, respect again. The President then made his long speech, followed up by the blessing of 8 religious leaders.
Suddenly the marshals came to chain up the side of the steps, we were like WTF wat u doing. We soon realised, the cadets were marching out of the parade square to the grandstand to pass their rank for their parents and friends to put on. AFter putting away their guns, they marched down past the grandstand to the parade square, awaiting the momet. Putting the rank by their loved ones. After the MC, announced to call us go down, we went to the parade sq to put on his rank and took photos. Very touching moment wanna cry juz like we POP. A very memorable moment for the cadets, for the tough training they been through for 9 months, and waited so long for this day. Also they will be going diff units.
Kai then took his parents to the dining hall to have dinner with the VIPs and President, while Jiali, Kai's grandma, aunt and I went to the warrior's hall for buffet. As i did not had any tixs, I cannot go for the buffet dinner so i waited outside very long. At around 930pm the dinner ended and Kai packed his stuff ready to go home.
Hope you value the moments spent in OCS, the joys and sufferings. Also to take up the new challenge and responsibilites as an officer to care and protect yourself and your man.

Very long time never blog liaoz, cos very tired from EX.
Since after my birthday that week, we all prepared for NPT, BPT then Taiwan EX. Almost everywk 3 days 2 nites outfield ex.
1) camou on,
2) dirty , smelly long 4
3) drills
4) sleepless nights, due to rain, sound from generator, live firing, no soft pillow and matress.
5) eat lesser always maggie mee
6) eat unhealthy becos only mee with lots of seasoning and canned food lots of preservatives.
Now my platoon getting lesser people going for ex, Botak and Jimmy downgraded. Garrad and Xiangxin excused for EX. More sentry duties to tah during ex. Ex mainly tok cok. From the sand to the stars, no entertainment except toking LOL. Few more ex before 1 wk off yeh, anybody wanna go JB? I wanna go there eat cheap seafood. Hopefully would get my new camera by Xmas, itchy to get new. Any kind souls can sponsor me, i take photo of you free of charge.
